The role of Oracle Database Administrator is a critical position in our organization, and we are seeking an experienced professional to fill this vacancy. The successful candidate will have exposure to work with international clients in the leading healthcare arena.

Job Specification

To lead and be responsible for providing Oracle database support, including data mining, report writing, backup and recovery, migration, and upgrade. The incumbent would gain exposure to refined company culture and cutting-edge latest technologies in a global enterprise environment.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree with major in IT discipline
  • Master's degree (preferred)
  • Oracle certification
Responsibilities:
  • Manage production support activities and special assignments, data manipulation, and presentation.
  • Maintain and support enterprise-level EHR (Electronic Health Record) Oracle back-end.
  • Participate as Analyst/Consultant in different data mining projects.
  • Identify and implement business processes according to Industry Best Practices.
  • Analyze and document end-users' requirements. Implement change requests and perform performance tuning tasks.
  • Conduct acceptance testing and end-user training. Participate in customer-related activities, such as training and super user forums.
Work Experience:
  • Excellent DBA skills and 4-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Cerner Millennium experience in a healthcare environment is a plus.
  • Business processes and functional requirements mapping experience.
  • Project management experience is preferred.
  • Interpersonal/Professional Skills:
  • Ability to work independently and as a team lead.
  • Task-oriented with focus on deliverables.
  • Innovative with an analytical mindset.
  • Capable of meeting deadlines while ensuring quality.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a challenging environment.
  • Fluency in English language.
  • Ability to work with diverse cultures.
