Job Description

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our educational initiatives and drive impactful change in the lives of Pakistani children. As a Professional Development Lead, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective training programs, supporting teachers in improving their content and pedagogical skills, and fostering a positive learning environment.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in teaching and a passion for education. They will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to design and implement innovative solutions to complex problems.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective training programs for teachers
  • Support teachers in improving their content and pedagogical skills
  • Foster a positive learning environment that promotes student excellence
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary learning projects and shared professional development activities
  • Undertake demos and interviews of teacher candidates to fill vacancies
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Formal teaching qualification (e.g., B.Ed, M.Ed, CELTA)
  • At least 5 years of teaching experience with a background in providing professional development and support to other educators
  • In-depth knowledge of curriculum and instructional strategies
  • Strong vision for achievement in education
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
