Chief Financial Officer

The role of Chief Financial Officer is a strategic leadership position responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's financial operations.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the finance team in managing tasks to ensure timely completion and alignment with business objectives.
  • Evaluate and enhance financial plans, risk management strategies, and their validity in relation to business objectives.
  • Direct the preparation of comprehensive financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, tax returns, and government agency reports.
  • Administer the projection of sales and profit to actual figures, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Compare budgeted expenses to actual expenses, making necessary adjustments to future projections and budgets.
  • Oversee the budget and take measures to maximize profit while ensuring responsible financial stewardship.
  • Identify opportunities for business expansion through new product areas and collaborate with stakeholders to develop strategic plans.
  • Pursue investment opportunities with banks to raise additional capital required for expansion, aligning with the company's growth vision.
Job Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

  • Certifications in Finance & Business, such as a Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA), are mandatory.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of previous experience as a CFO in the Retail industry, with a strong track record of financial leadership.
  • Total accounting or financial management experience of at least 8-10 years, with expertise in areas like ERP, Risk Management, and budgeting.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, confidence, and executive presence – ability to motivate staff and drive results.
  • Excellent knowledge of corporate financial law and regulatory requirements.
