Job Title: Interpreter - Enhanced Communication Bridge

Employed within diverse settings, interpreters and translators are sought after in Rawalpindi/Islamabad to facilitate linguistic connections. Working under the umbrella of healthcare, legal, educational, immigration & refugee services, etc., they ensure seamless communication.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To interpret effectively, one must listen attentively, comprehend the content, and reproduce it with 100% accuracy.
  • The interpreter will assist individuals using legal, health, and local government services.
  • A crucial aspect is checking the non-English speaker's understanding after each sentence.
  • Conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting duties are expected.
  • Handling sensitive information with discretion is a priority.
  • Close coordination between the service user and provider is required.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in English or another language is necessary.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in English Language, Literature, English Language Teaching (ELT), or TESOL is preferred.
  • Qualifications related to interpretation are advantageous.
  • An IELTS certificate with an overall band score of 6.5, including a minimum of 6.0 in each individual subtest, is mandatory.
  • Signing a surety bond and a Non-Disclosure Agreement is essential.
