Job Title: Lead Auditor - Food

 

This position requires an individual who can conduct thorough food safety audits to ensure quality control across various food types. Our team adheres to a robust Quality Assurance System that includes the Code of Ethics and Group policy.

Key Responsibilities
  1. We require the candidate to prepare audit plans and coordinate with clients based on shared agendas from our Operational Backoffice.
  2. They must adhere to all relevant food safety standards, protocols, and codes of conduct.
  3. The candidate will conduct audits using updated checklists, forms, and tools.
  4. Maintaining positive client relationships and responding to inquiries and concerns is crucial.
  5. Reports must be submitted within established timelines for review channels.
  6. Defects, concerns, and queries raised by review channels need to be addressed promptly.
  7. Developing competencies to maintain qualification to conduct audits is vital.
  8. Creating competency assessment packs will help maximize coverage of EA/NACE/Industrial/Service codes.
  9. The ideal candidate should stay updated on the latest laws, regulations, statutory requirements, and standards applicable to the role.
Desired Skills and Qualifications

The following skills and qualifications are desired:

  • University degree in food-related disciplines such as biological sciences, food science, nutrition, agriculture, agribusiness, engineering, chemistry, or related fields.
  • LA course on FSMS, HACCP, HALAL, FSSC, GG is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 3-4 years' experience in food and/or agricultural industries, including quality assurance, food safety, auditing, or farm management.
  • Familiarity with third-party certification processes.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in computer skills including Excel, Word, Outlook, and database systems.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75%, primarily overnight travel across Pakistan.
