Job Title: Legal Counsel for ContractsDescription

This role provides dedicated legal support to functional departments within an organization, entailing consultation, advice, contract review and negotiation in line with internal values, policies, procedures and applicable law. The key function is to provide expert legal guidance to enable business growth while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract law, corporate governance, and intellectual property rights. Experience in stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication is also essential. A solid understanding of the legal framework in Pakistan, particularly company and telecom laws, is required.

The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting and reviewing contracts, providing legal assistance to stakeholders, and supporting the development of strategic initiatives. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills are necessary to succeed in this role.

In addition to the core responsibilities, the candidate will be expected to engage in training and development programs to enhance their knowledge and skills. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders is also crucial.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • LLB/LLM/Bar at Law Degree
  • At least 4-6 years of experience in in-house legal teams or law firms/chambers
  • Strong knowledge of contract, corporate, and intellectual property laws
  • Excellent research, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
