Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the production and updating of digital course materials and assessments, especially for Moodle.
  • Provide troubleshooting support for staff and students using various learning tools and platforms.
  • Collaborate with Learning Designers, academic staff, and course teams to implement effective synchronous and asynchronous digital learning strategies.
  • Support the delivery of training sessions and workshops for digital tools and instructional design.
  • Ensure digital content meets accessibility, copyright, and interoperability standards.
  • Manage and maintain learning content across platforms and resolve technical issues as needed.
  • Explore and integrate innovative digital tools to improve learning outcomes and user experience.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A Master's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within an educational institution.
  • Hands-on experience with Moodle and other Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) platforms is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Google Suite, and educational software tools is necessary.
  • Experience with digital content creation, web tools, and data management is also required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
  • The ability to train and support academic staff and students in digital learning environments is crucial.
Job Description Format:

This is a detail-oriented and innovative Digital Learning Developer position. The ideal candidate will bring experience in virtual learning environments, particularly Moodle, and a passion for enhancing digital education through technology and collaboration.

The selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating the production and updating of digital course materials and assessments, providing troubleshooting support, collaborating with Learning Designers and course teams, supporting the delivery of training sessions, ensuring digital content meets standards, managing and maintaining learning content, exploring and integrating innovative digital tools, and resolving technical issues.

For this role, a Master's degree in a relevant field is required, along with at least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within an educational institution. Hands-on experience with Moodle and other VLE platforms, strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Google Suite, and educational software tools, experience with digital content creation, web tools, and data management, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to train and support academic staff and students in digital learning environments are all essential.
