Job SummaryThe Technical Director of Nutrition and Food Fortification will provide leadership to the design and implementation of key technical components for the national food fortification programme in Pakistan.

This role involves leading all nutrition and food fortification technical components, providing inputs on advocacy, public and private sector quality control and assurance for food fortification and food safety, and supporting the Team Leader in ensuring effective implementation of the programme and achievement of programme objectives and milestones.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement key technical components for the national food fortification programme.
  • Provide high-level leadership to the team responsible for the programme's technical components.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement effective strategies for programme implementation and achievement of objectives.
Requirements:Essential Criteria:
  • Post-graduate degree in a relevant field, preferably with a PhD.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in public health, nutrition, or fortification.
  • At least 5 years of experience working specifically on food fortification.
  • Proven technical leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
