Job Title: Laboratory Transporter

As a laboratory transporter, you will be responsible for the safe transportation of patient samples to clinical laboratories. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and make a difference in the lives of patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect lab specimens from various collection points and transport them to the laboratory as per predefined schedules and standard operating procedures.
  • Distribute and deliver samples to the relevant sections as per guidelines.
  • Ensure thorough visual inspections of the assigned vehicle prior to initiating the day's tasks to avoid any delays due to breakdowns.
  • Assess the collection point staff on issue/packing/loading/transporting monthly supplies of medical surgical supplies/consumables for within/outside Karachi collection points in line with laid-down policies and procedures as and when required.
  • Assist in resolving any emergencies that might arise to hinder the timely transportation of patient samples to clinical laboratory sections.
  • Train new/junior transporters on their collection point routes.
  • Collect and deliver BME/IT equipment from collection points.
  • Perform other responsibilities assigned by the Manager/designee.
Requirements:
  • Matriculation or intermediate qualification will be preferred.
  • At least 2-3 years of driving experience with light vehicles.
  • Valid LTV driving license.
  • Ability to read and write basic English.
  • Willingness to work in shift duties.
