Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to manage our accounts payable process.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with experience in financial operations, accounting and bookkeeping. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, maintaining strong vendor relationships, and utilizing financial systems for reporting and tracking transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Invoices Processing: Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable process, verifying and reconciling invoices against purchase orders and ensuring compliance with company policies and agreements.
  • Vendor Management: Maintain strong relationships with vendors by communicating effectively about payment discrepancies, invoice issues, and general inquiries.
  • Financial Reporting: Utilize financial systems such as SAP and Microsoft Excel for generating reports, tracking transactions, and ensuring data integrity.
  • Reconciliations: Conduct regular reconciliations of vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Payment Runs: Prepare and process weekly and monthly payment runs, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Experience in financial operations, accounting and bookkeeping.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
  • Familiarity with financial systems such as SAP and Microsoft Excel.
