Biomedical Equipment Specialist Position

This role involves the maintenance, calibration, and repair of medical devices to ensure their optimal performance and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular equipment inspections to prevent malfunctions and identify potential issues.
  • Verify that all medical devices are accurately calibrated and functioning correctly.
  • Provide immediate support and troubleshoot problems outside regular working hours to safeguard patient well-being.
  • Install and configure new medical equipment and provide in-depth training for staff members on its proper use and upkeep.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment utilization, repairs, and replacements.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations governing medical devices and equipment.
  • Closely collaborate with Clinical departments during ISO audits.
  • Develop quality control protocols to guarantee medical devices meet necessary safety and performance standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field, along with 7-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP software.
