Job Overview

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving business growth through strategic tender management.

Tender Management Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively monitor various portals and internal alerts for relevant tender opportunities, identifying key requirements and commercial terms.
  • Analyse Request for Proposals (RFPs), Invitation for Bids (IFBs), Expression of Interests (EOIs) and other tender documents to assess the company's eligibility and capability to bid on specific tenders.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to gather necessary product specifications, technical data sheets, regulatory approvals and financial statements.
  • Develop compelling written proposals, ensuring clarity and adherence to all tender instructions and evaluation criteria.
  • Prepare supporting documentation such as company profiles and quality certifications.
  • Pricing Strategy & Commercial Terms: Work with Sales and Finance teams to develop competitive pricing strategies considering market dynamics and internal cost structures.
  • Ensure all commercial terms are clearly articulated and compliant with tender requirements.
  • Submission & Follow-up: Manage physical and/or electronic submission of bids, attending pre-bid meetings and clarification sessions as required.
  • Actively follow up on submitted tenders, track their status and respond to queries or requests for clarification from procuring entities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Pharmacy, Biomedical Engineering, Public Health or Supply Chain Management.
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in tender/bid management, specifically within medical devices or pharmaceutical industry in Pakistan.
  • Proven track record of successfully securing public sector tenders under PPRA rules.
  • Demonstrable understanding of DRAP regulations for medical device registration and import.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and organisational abilities.
