Job Title: Biomedical Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Biomedical Engineer to join our healthcare team. The role involves installation, calibration, preventive & corrective maintenance, and troubleshooting of medical equipment to ensure safe and smooth hospital operations. The candidate will also train staff on proper equipment usage, manage service records, and coordinate with vendors for repairs and procurement.

Key Responsibilities:

· Install, inspect, calibrate, and maintain biomedical equipment and systems in accordance with manufacturer's guidelines and hospital protocols.

· Troubleshoot and repair faulty equipment to minimize downtime and ensure patient safety.

· Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.

· Maintain an updated inventory of medical devices and ensure proper documentation of service history.

· Ensure compliance with hospital policies, international standards, and regulatory requirements.

· Provide technical support and training to medical and nursing staff on safe use of equipment.

· Liaise with vendors and suppliers for equipment procurement, warranty claims, and service agreements. Participate in planning, evaluation, and commissioning of new medical technologies.

· Contribute to quality assurance, safety checks, and risk management in relation to biomedical devices.

Qualifications & Skills:

· Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering (Master's degree preferred).

· Minimum 04 years of experience in hospital/healthcare environment.

· Strong knowledge of medical devices, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.

· Familiarity with hospital accreditation standards (e.g., JCIA, ISO) is a plus.

· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively with clinical teams.
