Business Development Analyst

We are seeking a talented Business Development Analyst to help us drive business growth and development.

The ideal candidate will conduct in-depth research on target industries, companies, and key decision-makers to identify potential clients and qualify leads based on predefined criteria. They will also assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date information on leads in our CRM system, send initial outreach emails or make introductory calls to potential leads, and support our Head of Growth and Partnerships in other aspects of business development as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough research on target industries, companies, and key decision-makers to identify potential clients.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information on leads in our CRM system.
  • Assist in qualifying leads based on predefined criteria.
  • Send initial outreach emails or make introductory calls to potential leads.
  • Support our Head of Growth and Partnerships in other aspects of business development as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in deal sourcing or business development, ideally in an investment environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand topics across climate, sustainability, and finance.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple client engagements effectively.
  • Proficiency in using CRM and prospecting tools (e.g., LinkedIn, CRM software).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
