Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Software Quality Assurance (SQA) specialist to join our team. As an SQA specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough manual and automated testing using performance and security tools to identify defects and areas for improvement.
  • Gain hands-on experience with API testing or integration, utilizing tools like Postman and Swagger to ensure seamless interactions between APIs.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of SQA tools such as JMeter, Selenium, and Cypress to effectively test and validate software applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum development process to prioritize tasks, coordinate efforts, and deliver high-quality software products.
  • Apply principles of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and methodologies like agile software, product security, scalability, and documentation practices to ensure efficient and effective software development.
  • Design and verify test cases using functional requirements and UI specifications (nonfunctional requirements) to ensure comprehensive coverage of software functionality.
  • Coordinate with developers and Product Managers to address high-priority/severity issues, provide improvement suggestions, and facilitate bug-tracking meetings to resolve defects in a timely manner.
  • Monitor product performance after implementation to prevent re-occurrence of anomalies and ensure efficiency of flow.
  • Create simulated datasets replicating real-world scenarios to facilitate testing and validation.
  • Map business problems to software and data science techniques to drive innovation and improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 4 - 6 years of experience in software quality assurance.
  • Lahore location.
