Job Title: Senior Construction Development Manager

NCO Project Management Role


  • This role involves managing relationships with external partners to deliver New Centre Opening (NCO) projects on time, in line with our design standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project manage the construction of all NCOs in conjunction with out-sourced partners. Ensure clarity on expectations, deadlines and any issues or risks are escalated and dealt with promptly.
  2. Evaluate the fit-out of new centres to ensure they align with our global design and build standards.
  3. Plan and implement refurbishment and maintenance strategies for our existing estate, minimizing disruption to customers and prioritizing Return on Investment.
  4. Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders to prioritize work according to business needs.
  5. Cultivate strong supplier relationships by robustly managing their performance and maintaining a positive engagement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A proven track record of programme management experience in fast-paced environments such as retail, banking, hotels, or consultancy, with expertise in managing multiple openings within demanding timelines and tight budget controls.
  • High commercial acumen and results-driven approach, with significant experience in reducing costs while improving standardization.
  • Strong drive and attention to detail, coupled with resilience and ability to maintain focus on the big picture and end goal despite ambiguity, uncertainty, and change.
  • Prior experience in refurbishment and maintenance management is beneficial.
  • Ability to influence multiple stakeholders across countries and cultures, with experience in selecting and managing preferred partners through competitive tender processes being an advantage.
  • Proficiency in English language is required, with additional European languages being appreciated.
