Job Opportunity in Food Science
The Department of Nutritional Sciences invites applications from Pakistani Nationals for positions in a Higher Education Commission project titled Potential utilization and value addition of pomegranate peel extract by exploring its therapeutic and antimicrobial potential in bakery products. The successful candidates will contribute to the project's research objectives, working in both field and laboratory settings.
Job Description:Applicants are required to possess relevant qualifications and experience in physicochemical analyses and report writing. They should be comfortable with collecting raw materials, conducting chemical analyses, preparing project reports, writing proposals, and manuscripts.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- B.Sc. (Hons.)/BS or equivalent in Nutritional Sciences or a relevant field.
- Good knowledge related to physicochemical analyses and report writing.
- Experience in MS-HND or equivalent is preferred.
- A competitive honorarium of Rs. 11,666/- per month for Research Associate.
- A competitive honorarium of Rs. 12,500/- per month for Short Term Support Staff.
The contract duration is 1 year, extendable to one more year.
