Cloud Operations Expert

We are a fast-paced SaaS company looking for a highly skilled Cloud Operations Expert to join our Engineering team. This role is ideal for an individual who has experience in managing and maintaining cloud-based systems, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.

Job Description:

This is a unique opportunity to work with a talented team of engineers, architects, and operations professionals to design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure solutions.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business needs and technical requirements.

  • Design, implement, and manage cloud-based systems, including infrastructure as code, containerized orchestration, and configuration management.

  • Develop and maintain scripts and tools to automate day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and reliability.

  • Participate in on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 coverage and respond to incidents promptly.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years of recent technical experience in Professional Services/Enterprise DevOps role.

  • Strong technical skills and proficiency in multiple functional areas, such as infrastructure as Code, containerized orchestration, configuration management, programming language, logging system, CI/CD, and network protocols and standards.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with offshore teams and stakeholders.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or other IT-related fields.

  • Fluent in English with excellent writing/editing and verbal communication skills.

  • Critical thinking and analytical skills to drive DevOps mindset initiatives across teams for agile release.
