Production Operations Manager

Manage and administer multiple production lines, utilities, and teams. Assist the operations manager in planning, maintenance, and operational activities. Ensure that production meets company standards as outlined in quality control systems. Responsible for personnel, equipment, and spare parts planning.
Main Responsibilities- Contribute to the annual business plan by forecasting raw materials, overheads, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Design and implement modifications at the plant, ensuring effective and timely utilization of capital expenditures.
- Manage relevant production and maintenance engineers; may also work directly as a production engineer on assigned lines.
- Monitor line efficiency and raw material yields within targets. Track and control major materials like diesel, natural gas, consumables, oils, and lubricants.
- Train and monitor staff to adhere to good manufacturing practice (GMP) requirements.
- Implement preventive maintenance programs via SAP to meet efficiency targets. Ensure safety stocks for spare parts are maintained.
- Maintain sufficient inventory of spare parts to reduce breakdown times.
- Perform scheduled maintenance activities according to total productive maintenance (TPM) plans.
- Ensure operational staff are multitasked across lines and areas.
- Minimize overtime to achieve zero overtime levels.
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical/Electronics Engineering is required.
