Job Summary:

A visionary and seasoned Technology Lead is sought to spearhead the development of transformative GenAI solutions across diverse use cases. Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and implement scalable AI pipelines and frameworks using cutting-edge technologies.
  • Mentor and manage a high-performing team of AI/ML engineers to drive collaborative innovation.
  • Develop and execute prompt engineering strategies to unlock LLM applications across enterprise-grade systems.
  • Evaluate new tools, frameworks, and research to maintain NorthBay's position at the forefront of AI innovation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align AI initiatives with business objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 12 years of professional experience in software engineering, with 8+ years specifically in AI/ML leadership.
  • Hands-on expertise in Generative AI, including Agentic AI, Multi-Agent Systems, Langraph, Ontology-based Knowledge Graphs, LLM fine-tuning, and Prompt Engineering.
  • Strong experience with Vector Databases, LangChain, Vector Embeddings, Foundation model training, Human-in-the-loop feedback, Multi-modal AI, NLP, Text Classification, Computer Vision, and AWS ML Services.
  • Proficient in Python, Jupyter Notebooks, and libraries like NumPy, pandas, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, and Vibe Coding techniques.
  • Proven track record of delivering 5+ successful AI/ML projects, particularly in foundation models and multi-modal systems.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring experience in Agile environments.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with technical and business stakeholders.
  • AWS Machine Learning Certification is a plus.
