Job Description

As a seasoned cybersecurity expert, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding digital banking operations. Your expertise in implementing and monitoring security solutions, conducting threat assessments, and managing security tools will be crucial in ensuring compliance with security frameworks and enforcing cybersecurity policies to protect critical banking infrastructure.

This position requires a passion for security management, vulnerability assessments, and architecture design. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by identifying, assessing, and mitigating cybersecurity threats across digital platforms, supporting incident response by analyzing security events and escalating issues, and managing access control policies to prevent unauthorized access to sensitive data.

The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of network security protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and endpoint security. Expertise in security solution implementation & monitoring is also essential. Proficiency in scripting and automation to improve security controls is desirable.

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices across cloud and on-prem environments. The ability to track emerging cyber threats and enhance detection techniques is crucial. Additionally, experience with cloud security best practices and securing virtual environments is highly valued.

Responsibilities
  • Threat & Incident Management:
    • Identify, assess, and mitigate cybersecurity threats across digital platforms.
    • Support incident response by analyzing security events and escalating issues.
    • Manage access control policies to prevent unauthorized access to sensitive data.
  • Security Tools Management:
    • Deploy, configure, and manage security solutions (e.g., SIEM/SOC).
    • Maintain and optimize security tools, such as antivirus and endpoint protection.
    • Continuously evaluate security tools to enhance detection and response capabilities.
  • Technical Security Implementation:
    • Design and implement network security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs).
    • Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests on networks, applications, and systems.
    • Implement patch management strategies to address security gaps.
  • Security Architecture & Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with security frameworks and regulatory standards.
    • Monitor security event logs and analyze anomalies for proactive threat detection.
    • Work with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices across cloud and on-prem environments.
  • Research & Development:
    • Track emerging cyber threats and enhance detection techniques.
    • Conduct threat intelligence analysis and proactively implement risk mitigation measures.
    • Lead security awareness initiatives and train internal teams on security protocols.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
    • Maintain system documentation, incident response playbooks, and escalation procedures.
    • Generate security reports and dashboards for continuous security posture improvement.
