As a Cybersecurity Specialist, you will be responsible for protecting Syhtek's and its clients' digital infrastructure from cyber threats. You'll monitor, analyze and respond to potential threats, ensuring the highest levels of security for critical systems and networks. Your work will ensure that Syhtek stays ahead of emerging security challenges in a constantly evolving landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Security Monitoring: Constantly monitor networks for vulnerabilities or suspicious activity.
  • Threat Detection: Use advanced tools to detect and mitigate potential cyber threats.
  • Security Policies: Implement and enforce security policies and procedures.
  • Incident Response: Respond swiftly to security incidents and breaches.
  • Data Encryption: Ensure sensitive data is encrypted and secured at all times.
  • Security Audits: Perform regular security audits to identify potential risks.
  • Security Training: Educate employees on best practices and cybersecurity awareness.
  • Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with the latest cyber threats and technologies.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security roles.
  • Experience with security monitoring tools and incident response.
  • Experience in identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities across networks.
  • Strong knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS and endpoint security.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to think critically and adapt to new challenges in cybersecurity.
