Job Title: Health Representative

Division: Vaccines

Report to: Health Rep Manager

Location: Lahore

The role of a Health Representative involves making professional presentations to targeted doctors within an assigned territory.

To ensure adequate knowledge, the representative must be up-to-date on products and their competition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Making professional skillful presentations using selling skills to listed doctors on approved indications of products to increase prescriptions.
  • Calling on practicing physicians, hospitals, and other health-related organizations/personnel within an assigned territory.
  • Preparing and submitting reports regarding calls made to doctors and chemists to his Health Representative Manager.
  • Following the approved tour program, making planned calls accordingly, and presenting coverage in scheduled meetings.
  • Arranging Product Group Meetings with doctors to discuss one or two products in detail and updating knowledge on competitive products.
  • Collecting and reporting information on promotional and marketing moves of the competition.
  • Providing periodic feedback to his manager and the marketing group on his own promotional activities.
  • Coordinating with distributors for desired stock availability of products with retail outlets.
  • Finding solutions to achieve objectives assigned for increased prescription flow from identified doctors and reporting findings periodically to his Health Representative Manager.
  • Forwarding technical queries raised by doctors to the Medical Division for clarification with intimation to the Health Representative Manager.
  • Ensuring proper dressing, maintenance of records, detailing kit, and vehicle and submitting expenses and leave plans as per deadlines.
  • Reporting competitive activities observed by him in his area to HRM, SM, and Marketing.

Qualifications: Science graduate, preferably Pharmacy education

Experience: 1-2 years in Pharmaceuticals Selling
