Network Planning Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a specialist in network planning and infrastructure development. The role is responsible for designing, optimizing, and evolving our transport and IP network infrastructure to deliver scalable, high-performance, and cost-effective connectivity solutions.

  • Plan and design transport networks including Optical Transport Networks (OTN), Fiber access networks (FTTS/FTTH), and IPRAN networks.
  • Develop IP network topology and capacity plans for aggregation, core, and service edge (BRAS/BNG, PE routers).
  • Evaluate new optical and IP technologies, vendors, and architectures for network modernization.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with transmission, IP, access, and data center teams for cohesive planning.
  • Provide technical input in RFPs, vendor selection, and contract negotiations.
  • Maintain up-to-date network diagrams, inventory, and capacity databases.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Fresh or 2+ years of relevant experience in transport optical and/or IP/MPLS network planning (telecom operator or vendor environment).
  • Strong understanding of DWDM, OTN, ROADM, GMPLS, and optical protection schemes.
  • Knowledge of IPRAN, IP/MPLS, Segment Routing, BGP, OSPF/IS-IS, QoS, and TE principles.
