Technology Strategy & System Development Leader

We are seeking a seasoned Technology Strategy & System Development Leader to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of technology solutions that drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology strategy and system development, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget. You will work closely with our stakeholders to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions that meet their expectations.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Developing and implementing technology strategies that align with our business goals
• Leveraging your technical expertise to design and develop innovative solutions that drive business value
• Leading cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions
• Evaluating and recommending new technologies to support business growth and improvement

Enterprise Architecture & IT Governance Expertise

As a Technology Strategy & System Development Leader, you will also be responsible for developing and implementing enterprise architecture and IT governance frameworks that support business growth and improvement. This includes:

• Designing and implementing enterprise architecture frameworks that align with our business goals
• Developing and enforcing IT governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance and risk management
• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions

Team Leadership & Capacity Building

You will also be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing team of technologists who can deliver complex projects on time and within budget. This includes:

• Recruiting, hiring, and managing a team of technologists who possess the skills and expertise needed to deliver complex projects
• Developing and implementing training programs to enhance team members' skills and expertise
• Mentoring and coaching team members to achieve their full potential

Project & Change Management Expertise

In addition to your technical expertise, you will also be responsible for project and change management. This includes:

• Managing new demands, change requests, and system enhancements to ensure timely delivery and minimize disruption
• Coordinating with stakeholders to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions
• Developing and implementing project plans that align with our business goals

Integration & Stakeholder Coordination

You will also be responsible for ensuring seamless integration between our systems and applications, as well as coordinating with stakeholders to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions. This includes:

• Developing and implementing integration plans that align with our business goals
• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions
• Ensuring that all systems and applications are properly integrated and functioning as expected

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

Finally, you will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on the performance of our systems and applications. This includes:

• Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of our systems and applications
• Developing and implementing reporting tools to provide stakeholders with timely and accurate information
• Providing recommendations for improvement based on data analysis and trend identification

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, or Software Development
• At least 14 years of progressively responsible experience in technology leadership roles, including 7 years at an executive level in a similar organization
• Prior experience as a Senior Technologist in a multinational company or large-scale public/private sector enterprise preferred
• Proven experience in leading major ICT transformation programs
• Strong ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders to build long-lasting relationships
• Expertise in solution architecture, including Kubernetes, JSON, APIs, Microservices Architecture, Blockchain, and Artificial Intelligence
• Deep understanding of technology capability models and enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) with relevant certifications preferred
• Professional IT certifications such as COBIT, ITIL, or equivalent are a plus
• Industry visionary with a passion for technology and innovation
• In-depth knowledge of web system architecture, design, and development
• Hands-on experience with complex project management
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
