Job Title

A Territory Sales Manager is required to join our team. This role involves selling cloud-based services to enterprise clients.

About the Role

This position requires a customer-oriented individual with a 'can do' attitude. The ideal candidate should have a drive for achieving goals and maintaining a great customer experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating new businesses by identifying profitable opportunities, generating innovative ideas to support customers and boost brand awareness, and proactively reaching out to potential clients.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create new businesses by identifying profitable opportunities
  • Generate innovative ideas to support customers and boost brand awareness
  • Proactively reach out to potential clients
  • Sell cloud-based services to enterprise clients
  • Develop and execute a sales plan that provides complete territory and sector specific coverage
  • Develop appropriate sales programs and solutions; maintain up-to-date competitive information and compile regional success stories
  • Lead successful go-to-market campaigns by working closely with internal marketing specialists
  • Serve as a primary relationship owner for an assigned group of top tier client accounts with responsibility for retention and growth
  • Communicate confidently at senior management level
  • Manage multiple accounts; develop positive working relationships with all customer touch points
  • Help customers achieve quantifiable business outcomes and have an exceptional customer experience
  • Interact with customers business contacts, IT & business and identify opportunities using 'business language' and active listening 60% to 70% of the time (no sales pitching)
  • Ensure clients derive maximum value from our services
  • Focus on ensuring we maintain superior customer service levels, operational excellence and strategic insight
  • Meet sales targets and specific performance metrics, aligned with business strategies
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, pipeline status and forecasted opportunities in our Customer Connect system
  • Contribute individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others
  • Contribute and lead in account planning, customer/market analysis, and strategy sessions
  • Prepare and deliver effective client presentations, including stakeholders at all levels of the organization up to C-Suite
  • Develop proactive relationships and collaborate with extended tech cloud teams (marketing, business development, presales, consultants, customer success team etc)
  • Drive a volume sales plan
Requirements

The ideal candidate should have proven work experience as a Territory Sales Manager and a track record in a sales-driven organization, selling technology-related products and services.
