Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to manage and oversee the safe, reliable, and efficient operations of natural gas flow measuring equipment installed and operated in the region.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in oil and gas/public sector management, preferably in a similar role. A Master's degree is considered an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operations Management: Ensure the safe operation of natural gas flow measuring equipment, minimizing risks and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Maintenance Strategy: Plan and implement preventive and breakdown maintenance of gas flow measurement stations to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
  • Resource Optimization: Effectively utilize manpower and material resources to achieve departmental objectives.
  • Instrument Calibration: Manage calibration of metering instruments at Point of Delivery(s), Check Metering Station(s), and Sales Meter Station(s) to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Installation and Commissioning: Oversee the installation and commissioning of new metering installations and/or upgradation of existing setups in the region.
  • Field Activity Reports: Ensure field activity/maintenance activity reports are filled, signed, and submitted by the team, with documentation records maintained.
  • JMCS Activities: Conduct Joint Meter Check activities with the Distribution department in a timely manner for gas volume recorded at Sales Metering Stations.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and expertise to the team, coordinating field activities related to equipment installation, startup, and operation.
  • Data Analysis: Monitor data through remote monitoring systems, identifying problems and implementing corrective measures in a timely manner.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • At least 06 years of post-qualification experience in Oil and Gas/Public Sector, preferably in a similar role.
  • A Master's degree is considered an added advantage.
