Executive Director

Job Summary:

The Executive Director is the highest-ranking executive in an organization, responsible for providing strategic leadership and overseeing daily operations. This role involves working closely with stakeholders and staff to drive growth, efficiency, and long-term sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans, organizational policies, and manage resources to ensure the fulfillment of the organization's mission and goals.

  • Oversee all departments, ensuring efficient and effective operations, and represent the organization to stakeholders, partners, donors, and the public.

  • Lead fundraising, grant writing, and resource mobilization efforts, as well as work with the board of directors to set goals, track progress, and ensure compliance.

  • Prepare and manage budgets, financial reports, and audits, and build and maintain strong relationships with community, government, and industry partners.

  • Recruit, manage, and support senior leadership and staff development, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory standards.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership experience, preferably in a similar executive or senior management role, with strong strategic planning, organizational, and financial management skills.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to inspire teams and build a strong, values-driven organizational culture.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, Public Administration, or a related field, with experience working with boards and external stakeholders highly desirable.
