Lead Nurse Manager Position

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Nurse Manager to oversee the delivery of high-quality patient care in our acute care setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of nurses, managing patient assignments, and ensuring timely delivery of nursing care as per physician orders.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage patient assignments and ensure that patients receive timely and appropriate care.
  • Oversee the delivery of nursing care, including medication administration, procedures, and diagnostic tests.
  • Conduct regular rounds to assess patient conditions, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
  • Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient progress notes and performance metrics.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote quality patient care and improve staff productivity.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement strategic plans to achieve organizational goals.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Nursing or a related field (Post RN B.Sc.N or B.Sc. General Nursing)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior nurse or head nurse role in an acute care setting
  • Registered with the relevant professional nursing body
  • Supervisory skills to lead and guide a team of nurses
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Proficient in MS Office and electronic medical records systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Specialization in ICU, ER, or other critical care areas
  • Certification in BLS, ACLS, and ECG
  • Diploma in Health Management
  • Fluency in additional languages (e.g., Urdu)

Working Conditions:

This is a shift job covering 24 hours, with periodic shift rotation.
