Clinical Instructor Role

As a Clinical Instructor, you will play a pivotal role in planning and coordinating orientation and training programs for nursing staff. Your expertise will be utilized to create proposals for additional training programs, conduct bedside teaching sessions, and evaluate staff performance through random clinical rounds. Your findings will be shared with senior leaders, contributing to Continuous Quality Improvement.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who possess a strong educational background in Nursing and have gained at least 4-5 years of clinical experience, coupled with at least one year of teaching experience. We are seeking candidates with the ability to organize and deliver high-quality Nursing Education training sessions, as well as proficiency in MS Office applications. Specialization in ICU and ER, along with certifications like BLS, ACLS, and ECG, would be highly valued but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for nursing staff.
  • Create and present proposals for new training initiatives.
  • Conduct hands-on teaching sessions at patient bedside.
  • Conduct regular assessments of staff performance and instructional methodologies.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and unit heads to identify training needs.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing with a minimum of 4-5 years of clinical experience.
  • At least one year of teaching experience in Nursing.
  • Experience in conducting and organizing Nursing Education training sessions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Good communication skills in English and Urdu.
  • Valid PNC registration.
  • PREFERRED: Specialization in ICU and ER or certification in BLS, ACLS, and ECG.
