Electrical Automation Instructor

A leading organization is seeking a seasoned Electrical Automation Instructor to oversee the development and delivery of comprehensive training programs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial electrical systems, automation technologies, and instructional design principles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop Curriculum Frameworks: Design and implement curriculum frameworks for the Electrical Automation Program.
  • Hands-on Training: Provide hands-on training in industrial electrical systems, automation technologies, and control systems.
  • Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Teach students how to install, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial electrical equipment and automation systems.
  • Safety Protocols: Ensure students understand safety protocols and best practices in an industrial environment.
  • Evaluation and Assessment: Evaluate student performance through assessments, projects, and practical exams.
  • Industry Trends: Stay current with industry trends and advancements in automation and electrical technology.
  • Laboratory Management: Maintain and manage lab equipment and tools.
  • Engaging Learning Environment: Foster a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other instructors and staff to enhance the overall educational experience.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in industrial electrical systems and automation.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of PLC programming, motor controls, and industrial automation systems.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Teaching Experience: Prior teaching or training experience is preferred.
  • Commitment to Student Success: Commitment to student success and continuous improvement in teaching methods.
