The job requires you to plan and optimize truck routes based on factors such as distance, traffic, and delivery deadlines. You will communicate effectively with drivers to provide clear instructions, updates on routes, and address any issues that arise during transit.

Maintaining accurate records of routes taken, delivery times, and incidents during transit is also an essential aspect of this role. As a point of contact for clients, you will provide updates on shipment status and address their inquiries or concerns.

This position demands strong geographical knowledge and understanding of transportation logistics. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to interact effectively with drivers, clients, and team members.

A proven experience in a similar logistics role, proficiency in using dispatching software, and familiarity with hours of service regulations are also required.
