Job Overview

The Renaissance Pittsburgh Hotel is seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join their team as an AM Host. As a key member of the hotel's operations, you will be responsible for ensuring that guests receive exceptional service from the moment they arrive.

Your primary responsibilities will include greeting arriving customers, seating them in a timely and efficient manner, and providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout their stay. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of guest interactions, processing payments, and responding to any issues or concerns that may arise.

  • You will be the first point of contact for guests upon arrival, creating a lasting impression with your friendly demeanor and exceptional communication skills.
  • You will be responsible for managing the flow of guests through the restaurant, ensuring that they are seated promptly and efficiently.
  • You will work closely with the servers to ensure that guests receive prompt and courteous service, handling any issues or concerns that may arise.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be highly organized and able to multitask, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Prior experience in a customer-facing role, particularly in the hospitality industry, is highly desirable.
  • Basic mathematical skills and knowledge of cash handling procedures are essential.
