Procurement Expert - Beauty and Wellbeing

This role involves executing procurement strategies for beauty and wellbeing materials and services portfolios, deciding who to buy from, how to buy, and when to buy.

The ideal candidate will develop and implement procurement strategies, follow market conditions, prepare price trends, and formulate future market trends for the business.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Execute procurement of the B&W materials/services portfolios.
  2. Develop and implement strategies for the procurement of the respective portfolios.
  3. Follow market conditions, prepare price trends, and formulate future market trends for the business.
  4. Support the business with accurate price forecasting, prepare information on purchase prices, and communicate price trends to finance for budgeting and planning.
  5. Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure quality, service, and innovation.
  6. Manage procurement processes to ensure timely delivery and optimize supply chain performance.
  7. Collaborate with internal teams (finance, supply chain, R&D) to align procurement activities with business needs.
  8. Partner with BU teams to meet project requirements and deliver operational cash flow and working capital plans.
  9. Manage supply chain issues, measure and manage supplier performance, and lead or coordinate large procurement projects.
  10. Lead supplier rationalization, procurement excellence programs, and develop strategic business relationships to support growth and new product initiatives.
  11. Develop contingency plans and build material resilience strategies to ensure supply security.
  12. Support sustainability initiatives in procurement activities.
Requirements:
  1. Education: Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  2. Experience: 3-5 years in procurement or supply chain management.
  3. Skills: Negotiation, contract management, analytical skills, leadership, communication, project management, supply chain planning.
