Financial Leadership Role

The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the integrity, accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and applicable laws.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review statutory financial statements for compliance with IFRSs and Companies Act, 2017, ensuring accuracy, completeness and timely submission to stakeholders.
  • Compute and record deferred tax assets and liabilities, justifying and supporting schedules in line with accounting standards and relevant tax laws.
  • Lead computation and documentation of Expected Credit Loss (ECL) models under IFRS 9 for trade receivables and other financial assets.
  • Oversee lease accounting under IFRS 16, maintaining lease registers and reassessing Right-of-Use (ROU) assets and lease liabilities using ERP/accounting systems.
  • Manage intercompany reconciliations and reporting, ensuring accurate and timely matching of balances and transactions across group entities.
  • Develop and maintain accounting policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), identifying process gaps and strengthening internal controls over financial reporting.
