The role of MEP Supervisor at a large-scale mixed-use development involves overseeing the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems. The successful candidate will ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency of these systems while complying with project specifications, building codes, and hotel comfort standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise the installation, operation, and maintenance of HVAC systems including chillers, air handling units, fan coil units, VRV/VRF systems, exhaust and fresh air systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance for HVAC equipment to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Troubleshoot HVAC faults and recommend corrective measures to minimize downtime and maintain system reliability.
  • Ensure that HVAC systems meet or exceed hotel comfort standards and adhere to established energy policies.
  • Monitor and coordinate the smooth functioning of all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) services within guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to respond promptly to guest complaints and maintenance requests.
  • Maintain accurate records of HVAC performance metrics, maintenance schedules, and repairs.
Requirements
  • A Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 6 years of experience in Facility Management, preferably in hotel and high-end commercial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC operations and maintenance principles.
  • Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings, coordination layouts, and technical documentation.
