Job Summary:

The MEP HVAC Supervisor is responsible for supervising all Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) works at Mall35, a mixed-use development comprising commercial spaces and hotel facilities. The supervisor ensures complete Operation and maintenance of HVAC systems in compliance with project specifications, building codes, and hotel performance requirements. This role involves close coordination with multiple stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervise installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VRV/VRF systems, exhaust and fresh air systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance for HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot HVAC faults and recommend corrective measures.
  • Ensure HVAC systems are compliant with hotel comfort standards and energy policies.
  • Monitor and ensure smooth functioning of all MEP services (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) within guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, front office, and other departments to respond to guest complaints and maintenance requests promptly.
  • Maintain a log of HVAC performance metrics, maintenance schedules, and repairs.
  • Supervise contractors and third-party vendors during MEP installation, refurbishment, or upgrades.
  • Assist in planning and execution of hotel renovation or expansion projects involving HVAC and other MEP systems.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with local codes, safety standards, and hotel policies.
  • Coordinate with consultants, architects, and engineers for HVAC system integration in hotel projects.
  • Maintain accurate records of HVAC systems, asset history, spares inventory, and maintenance reports.
  • Report system performance, incidents, and maintenance updates to the Chief Engineer or Facilities Manager.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 6+ years of Facility Management in HVAC supervision, preferably in hotel and high-end commercial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC Operation and maintenance.
  • Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings, coordination layouts, and technical documentation.
