Receptionist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Receptionist to join our team in the Children's Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing front desk operations, and ensuring seamless communication with patients and colleagues.


About the Role

This is a dynamic role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal skills. You will work closely with our medical and administrative teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, maintain accurate records, and provide support as needed.


Key Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and other customers in a polite, prompt, and helpful manner.
  • Ensure timely communication using technology currently in use.
  • Place meal orders for patients as per physicians' orders.
  • Coordinate with Bed Management and Admission departments regarding referral/transfer arrangements of patients.
  • Manage receipt of payments through various means.
  • Maintain data and keep records of all necessary documents as per institutional guidelines.
  • Provide administrative support to the unit, including maintaining tidiness and cleanliness.
  • Ensure availability of necessary forms and stationery in the unit.
  • Assist supervisor in quality audits and keeping ward manuals and records updated.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • At least one year of experience in handling front desk or customer services.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-oriented approach.
  • Knowledge and proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in teams and independently.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and meet stringent deadlines.
  • Good problem-solving, creative, and critical thinking skills.
  • Willingness to work in COVID wards and critical patient care areas.
  • Flexibility to work in various shifts.
