Financial Controller Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of the business.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management: Assist senior and junior team members in managing the company's finances.
  • Accounting: Oversee the ongoing maintenance of accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Budgeting: Support management in preparing accurate budgets, taking into account cash flow and reserve management.
  • Cash Flow Management: Ensure that cash flow is utilized properly and reserves are protected.
  • Audit and Compliance: Audit financial information for inconsistencies and ensure compliance with tax legislation.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Analytical and Communication Skills: Possess strong analytical, communication, and computer skills to effectively manage financial data.
  • Accounting and Financial Knowledge: Have a thorough understanding of accounting and financial processes, including MS Excel expertise.
  • Organizational and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues.
  • Ethical and Professional Behavior: Uphold ethical and professional behavior at all times.
Education and Certification:
  • Qualifications: Hold a B.Com/ BSc/ M.Com /MBA/ MSc in Finance/Accounting or relevant certification from ACCA, CIMA, or ATT.
  • Experience: Possess experience working in a UK-based firm, with a strong understanding of local regulations.
Work Environment:

This is a remote work opportunity, requiring the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will have excellent English communication and presentational skills.
