We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Indirect Tax team, responsible for delivering high-quality services to clients. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of managing large-scale VAT implementations and developing commercial propositions to drive business growth.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent advisory and writing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike. A degree in economics, finance, tax, or accounting is essential, as is at least six years of relevant experience as an Indirect Tax professional.

Experience working for a Big 4 accounting firm is preferred, but we will consider candidates from law firms or with relevant industry experience. Customs duty advisory experience is desirable, but VAT/GST advisory experience is also acceptable. Strong English written and presentational skills are a must.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of Indirect Tax engagements, ensuring technical excellence and a practical approach
  • Manage large VAT implementation teams, comprising client functional experts and consultant specialists
  • Develop and implement commercial propositions to drive business growth
  • Build and maintain tax relationships with clients, advising on indirect taxes and their impact on supply chains and financial systems
