Job Title: Analytics Business Development Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our business development efforts in the analytics domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of health analytics and its application in business strategies, with a proven track record of success in writing winning proposals and managing stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and cultivate potential business opportunities to create a robust pipeline of projects, both locally and internationally.
  • Develop, write, and submit high-quality proposals across multiple sectors while achieving key performance indicators.
  • Develop an outreach strategy and execute it, conducting outreach to potential clients via various channels, with a particular focus on health analytics in the private sector.
  • Create compelling presentations for proposals and stakeholder meetings, using strong analytical skills to communicate complex data effectively.
  • Manage public sector project proposals, particularly those funded by multilateral organizations such as the World Bank, Gates Foundation, UNDP, etc., in areas like public health, education, social development, government technical assistance, market research, and fieldwork.
  • Recruit necessary staff for won projects, handling all HR-related matters, and ensuring a smooth handover to the delivery team.
  • Support the project delivery teams in the smooth execution of projects, providing assistance as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, managing their expectations, and ensuring effective communication.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Number of donor-based opportunities identified.
  • Number of donor-based proposals submitted.
  • Number of potential private sector clients reached out to.
  • Number of potential private sector opportunities identified.
  • Number of private sector proposals submitted.
  • Success rate for both private sector and donor-based proposals.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Business Administration, Public Health, Economics, Computer Science, Software development or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of monitoring and evaluation frameworks, theory of change, impact evaluations, qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, sampling strategies, and power calculations.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, proposal writing, or project management, preferably in a consultancy environment.
  • Proficiency in health analytics and the application of analytics to business strategies is desirable.
  • Proven success in writing winning proposals, with experience in stakeholder management.
  • Strong analytical skills, along with excellent presentation and communication abilities.
  • Experience in handling HR-related matters, including recruitment processes.
  • Proven ability to manage and execute projects, demonstrating efficient problem-solving skills.
