Senior Backend Developer Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our dynamic development team. As a senior developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems for scalable applications.

  • Design and Development: Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications using Node.js and associated frameworks (e.g., Express, NestJS).
  • API Architecture: Architect and implement scalable RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality features and improvements.

You will be responsible for optimizing applications for performance, scalability, and reliability. Additionally, you will integrate third-party services, databases (SQL & NoSQL), and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.).

We require you to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. You will lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and promote best practices in software development. Ensuring application security, data protection, and compliance with industry standards is also essential.

Qualifications:

  • Professional Experience: 4+ years of experience in backend development, specifically with Node.js.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Required Skills:

  • Programming Languages: Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and asynchronous programming patterns.
  • API Design: Experience with RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
  • Databases: Hands-on experience with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
