Web Development Opportunity

As a skilled web developer at a leading technology firm, you will be responsible for building and customizing WordPress plugins and themes to meet business requirements. You will collaborate with the design team to implement responsive and visually appealing user interfaces. Additionally, you will optimize website performance, including page speed, security, accessibility, and SEO. Your role will also involve ensuring high-performance and availability, managing all technical aspects of the CMS, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, bugs, and website enhancement tasks, as well as ensuring cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and customize WordPress plugins and themes using PHP and other relevant technologies
  • Collaborate with designers to create engaging user interfaces
  • Optimize website performance for improved user experience
  • Ensure high-performance and availability of websites
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
  • Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in web development
  • Solid understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
  • Experience with Angular and/or ReactJS an added advantage
  • Strong understanding of WordPress and PHP back-end development
  • Good understanding of different types of web security headers
  • Experience designing and developing responsive design websites
  • Comfortable working with debugging and Dev tools
  • Ability to understand Less, Sass, or CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools e.g., Git
