Commercial Driver Position Available

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced commercial driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics operation, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across Karachi and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a large commercial vehicle on designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing damage to goods.
  • Regularly inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and report maintenance needs to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with dispatchers to plan routes and schedules, ensuring seamless communication and efficient logistics.

Requirements:

  • A valid commercial driver's license issued in Karachi.
  • A clean driving record with no major violations or accidents.
  • The ability to pass background checks and drug tests as required by law.
  • Physical ability to load/unload cargo and operate heavy vehicles, with minimal risk of injury.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with graduates preferred but not mandatory.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with colleagues and customers.

Working Conditions:

This is a physically demanding role that requires long hours of driving, loading/unloading cargo, and exposure to various weather conditions. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is essential.
