Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled E-commerce Operations Director to lead and enhance our online sales channels. This role requires strong analytical skills, expertise in digital marketing, and a deep understanding of e-commerce platforms.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Optimize Website Performance: Manage website operations for optimal performance, functionality, and user experience.
  • Data-Driven Strategies: Develop strategies to increase online sales, conversion rates, and customer retention through data analysis and insights.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with the marketing team on SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media campaigns.
  • Product Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date product listings, pricing, descriptions, and images.
  • Enhance Customer Experience: Enhance the online shopping experience by implementing UX/UI improvements and personalization strategies.
  • Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with logistics teams to maintain stock accuracy, optimize fulfillment processes, and improve supply chain efficiency.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Utilize analytics tools to monitor website traffic, sales trends, and customer behavior.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with e-commerce platform providers, payment gateways, and third-party vendors.
  • Sales Events and Promotions: Plan and execute online sales events, promotional campaigns, and discount strategies.
  • Compliance and Security: Ensure website security, compliance with data protection regulations, and adherence to best practices in e-commerce operations.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, E-commerce, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum [X] years of experience in an e-commerce management role.
  • Platform Expertise: Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce).
  • Digital Marketing: Proficiency in digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, and paid advertising strategies.
  • Web Analytics: Hands-on experience with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hotjar).
  • UX/UI Knowledge: Knowledge of UX/UI best practices and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
  • Inventory Management: Experience in inventory and order management systems.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Leadership Abilities: Strong project management and leadership abilities.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Digital Marketing Certification: Certification in Digital Marketing or E-commerce.
  • CRM and Email Marketing: Experience with CRM and email marketing platforms (e.g., Klaviyo, Mailchimp, HubSpot).
