This key role is responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of Continental dishes with high quality, consistency, and adherence to food safety regulations.
Main Responsibilities:- Food Preparation & Cooking:
- Prepare and cook Continental dishes according to established recipes and standards.
- Evaluate the quality and presentation of all dishes.
- Maintain consistency by following established recipes and techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Ensure food safety and hygiene regulations are met.
- Menu Development & Specials:
- Contribute to menu planning and development, creating new dishes and specials.
- Prepare daily specials and seasonal dishes.
- Staff Supervision & Training:
- Supervise and train junior chefs and kitchen staff on cooking techniques and food safety protocols.
- Provide ongoing training and support to team members.
- Other Duties:
- Assist other chefs with tasks as needed.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude in the kitchen.
