Senior Onboarding Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Onboarding Expert to drive the delivery and design of our company-wide onboarding experience. As a key team member, you will guide and mentor junior colleagues in day-to-day execution while focusing on continuous improvement and impact on key business metrics like retention and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Facilitation & Content Curation: Act as the primary facilitator for key sessions of New Hire Orientation, delivering compelling content on company culture, vision, and strategy with passion and executive presence.
  • Programming Content & Alignment: Support the development, curation, and maintenance of all orientation content and materials, ensuring they are relevant, engaging, and current.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to refine and elevate content delivered by other departments during orientation, ensuring a cohesive and high-impact agenda.
Program Strategy & Management:
  • Serve as the lead facilitator and the primary owner of the new hire experience, ensuring it is world-class and a true reflection of our company's values and mission.
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for the onboarding program, such as 90-day retention rates, new hire satisfaction (NPS), and time-to-productivity.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a high-performance, collaborative work environment.
Requirements:
  • 2-4 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, Learning & Development, or Talent Management.
  • Exceptional presentation and facilitation skills with a proven ability to engage diverse audiences and command a room.
  • Strong strategic thinking and program management skills; the ability to translate high-level vision into actionable plans and measurable results.
  • Excellent analytical skills with experience using data to drive decision-making and program enhancements.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Experience with HRIS and/or Learning Management Systems.
