About The Role

As a Sales Promotion Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing the sales promotion cycle plan agenda, coordinating trade marketing plans and activities, and ensuring point of purchase controls within your designated zone to support sustainable business growth.

  • Implement the sales promotion cycle plan agenda on a timely basis.
  • Coordinate trade marketing plans and activities across the region.
  • Maintain proper records and indexing of point of sale materials (POSM) warehouses to ensure adherence to company policies and principles.

A Day In The Life

You will work closely with the sales team to implement consumer, customer, and trade promotions, as well as merchandising calendars within the region. Your responsibilities will also include managing sales promotion teams, including merchandising teams, to maintain discipline, punctuality, and performance records.

  • Ensure proper implementation of point of purchase control procedures through inventory reports and minimize POSM ageing by applying POSM within the given timeframe.
  • Provide market intelligence and sales promotion activation documents to regional sales managers and head office monthly.

To succeed in this role, you will require strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to motivate and develop people. You should have a deep understanding of customers and the selling process, as well as knowledge of key business functions.

  • Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution.
  • 2-3 years of experience in ASM/TSE/SPE roles.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
