Purpose

This role is responsible for ensuring revenue assurance & compliance of commercial distribution operations in one of the clusters by applying procedures as per compliance framework on a monthly, quarterly & annual basis. The goal is to identify, investigate, and report risks, policy deviations, regulatory non-compliance, control weaknesses, and revenue leakages. This includes timely resolution of identified errors and discrepancies, formulating system-based controls to minimize risk, improve efficiency, and safeguard our values. Additionally, this position involves identifying governing issues & suggesting controls/actions for an improved governance environment. This role also entails resolution of IA-identified queries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review processes/controls related to commercial operations and highlight any deviation from policies/procedures and regulations.
  • Perform routine billing analysis (cycle day-wise), including target testing of billing transactions on pre-defined criteria.
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly discrepancy reports and share with Cluster and IBC Heads.
  • Prioritize issues and communicate accordingly to relevant stakeholders depending on the significance of risks involved.
  • Meet with internal stakeholders to discuss discrepancies in detail and address their points of view with respect to each case.
  • Follow up for the resolution of discrepancies highlighted.
  • Resolve non-conformities highlighted by Internal Audit through relevant business actions.

Internal Controls and Process Improvements:

  • Conduct brainstorming sessions to mitigate identified key risk areas by suggesting controls through system and required amendments in policies/SOPs.
  • Perform quantum analysis & forecast impact of changes.
  • Perform special tasks assigned to bring efficiency in the processes and build controls, keeping compliance SOPs in consideration.

Management / Regulatory Ad-hoc Tasks and Other Assignments:

  • Perform special tasks assigned to improve process efficiency and build controls, considering compliance SOPs.
  • Timely preparation of feasibility reports & perform in-depth analysis as required by higher management.
  • Manage compliance field officers & their administrative issues.
