Medical Documentation Assistant Role

Job Summary:

This role involves handling and managing patient documents, including receiving, organizing, and scanning medical records and reports into secure digital systems.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Handling Medical Documents: Receive, organize, and scan medical records and reports into secure digital systems.
  • Data Entry: Enter patient information, visit summaries, and test results into Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems with accuracy.
  • Document Review: Check that all documents are complete, properly labeled, and organized.
  • Filing and Maintenance: Maintain and retrieve medical documents as needed, keeping both digital and physical files in order.
  • Team Support: Assist medical staff and administrative teams with documentation-related tasks.
  • Privacy Compliance: Follow HIPAA guidelines and organizational policies to protect patient confidentiality.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Basic computer knowledge and typing skills
  • Willingness to learn medical terminology and healthcare systems
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
